Details

This property, part of a new development in Trumpington, Cambridge spans 3 floors - each floor with a small outside space. The ground floor garden backs onto a seasonal watercourse (the famous Hobson’s Brook), with a hedge and field behind.

The installation of simple oak posts and cables marked the boundary whilst allowing the garden to bleed into the landscape beyond.

The clean curve is possible on the decking with the help of the composite decking (Millboard) edged with a flexible strip.

The balconies relied on large fiberglass troughs and 2 multi-stemmed silver birch trees on the top floor.
