This Sussex house was completely rebuilt in traditional style leaving a curved area carved out of a plot on the South Downs Way. The design included a sweeping driveway, pool and oak pergola. The vegetable garden was just getting on its feet when I last visited.
Part of my design was the “Arc Garden”, inspired by the planting at Barrier Park, London. Unfortunately however the clients didn’t fancy the maintenance, they opted instead for a sweep of grass seen in the photos above. This visual uses Sketchup to model the idea, see CAD section.
